## Biography

Minoru Takada (also credited as Noboru Takada; Japanese: 高田稔) was a Japanese actor and film producer. He appeared in more than 230 films from 1924 to 1971, beginning as a leading man in silent films of the 1920s and 1930s before taking supporting roles as authority figures in later decades.

He is known for his appearances in Toho science-fiction films, including the Commander in *Battle in Outer Space* (1959), a government official in *Atragon* (1963) and the Prime Minister in *Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster* (1964). Takada was born on 20 December 1899 in Higashinaruse, Ogachi, Akita, Japan, and died on 27 December 1977 in Tokyo. His wife was the former actress Mikiko Mitsuki.
