## Biography

Miou Tanaka (田中 美央) is a Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 4 July 1974 in Kita, Kōbe, Hyōgo, he graduated from the Department of Performing Arts at Osaka University of Arts before joining the theatre company Haiyuza. He remained a member until February 2022 and is now affiliated with Empathy.

Tanaka is known for his role as Captain Tatsuo Hotta in the film *Godzilla Minus One* (2023). He has appeared in the *Kingdom* film series (2022–2024) as Yuan and provided voice performances in anime including *Kaiju No. 8* (2024) as Juzo Nogizaka, *MEGALOBOX* (2018) as Chief, and *My Oni Girl* (2024) as Mikio Yatsuse. He is also the bassist for the band Air Language.
