Miranda Raison is a British actress. She was born on 18 November 1977 in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, England, and trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She is the daughter of a former Anglia Television newsreader and a jazz pianist.

Raison's breakthrough role was as Jo Portman in the BBC series *Spooks* (2005–2009). She has appeared in films including *Match Point* (2005), *My Week with Marilyn* (2011) and *Murder on the Orient Express* (2017), and in television series such as *Doctor Who* (2007), *24* (2014) and *Warrior* (2019–). On stage she originated the title role in Howard Brenton's *Anne Boleyn* at Shakespeare's Globe.
