## Biography

Mirjana Ostojić was a Serbian costume designer and art historian. She began working in film costume design in 1966 and contributed to more than fifty productions over her career.

Her credits include *WR: Mysteries of the Organism* (1971), *Time of the Gypsies* (1988), *The Misfit Brigade* (1987), *Occupation in 26 Pictures* (1978) and *Black Cat, White Cat* (1998). She collaborated with directors including Dušan Makavejev, Emir Kusturica, Živojin Pavlović and Lordan Zafranović.

Ostojić received the Yugoslav Film Archive plaque for outstanding contribution to film art, a special recognition for contribution to national culture in Serbia, and the UFUS award for lifetime achievement in 2016. She died in Belgrade on 13 July 2024.
