## Biography

Mitch Engel is an American television and film producer. He graduated from the New York University Film School in 1980 as a Louis B. Mayer fellow and began his career at Edgar J. Scherick Associates, where he rose to vice president of production before leaving in 1993 to produce independently.

His credits include the miniseries *George Wallace* (1997), for which he received a Golden Globe Award and a CableACE Award, as well as *Primeval* (2007), *The Good Guys* (2010), *The Americans* (2013–2014), *The Magicians* (2015–2018), *The Terror* (2019), *Candy* (2022) and *Chucky* (2021–2022). He has also produced several television films and international productions.
