## Biography

Mittie Lawrence (born 1 September 1941) is an American actress and model. The winner of the 1959 Miss Bronze California beauty pageant, she appeared as a "billboard girl" on Steve Allen's television variety show and worked as a model.

She is best known for playing Emma, Fanny Brice's personal assistant and confidant, in the 1968 musical film *Funny Girl*. Lawrence also had guest roles in television series including *I Dream of Jeannie* (1965) as Woman Shopper #3 and *Adam-12* (1968), and appeared in the films *Night Call Nurses* (1972) and *The New Centurions* (1972). Her screen career spanned 1959 to 1972.
