Ono began her screen career in 1979 with roles in *Torakku Yarō: Neppū 5000 kiro* and *G.I. Samurai*. She is known for her performances in *Fruits of Passion* (1981) as Kasen, *Evil Dead Trap* (1988) as Nami Tsuchiya, and *Black Rain* (1989) as Miyuki. Her later credits include *Hong Kong Paradise* (1990), *Black Angel Vol. 1* (1998) and *Hakuchi: The Innocent* (1999).
