Mobutu Sese Seko (14 October 1930 – 7 September 1997) was a Congolese politician and military officer who served as president of Zaire from 1971 to 1997. He appeared as himself in the 1996 documentary film *When We Were Kings*.

Born in Likasi, Belgian Congo, Mobutu is also credited in other documentaries, including *Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee* (1969) and *Children of Africa* (1993).
