## Biography

Monique Dury is a French costume designer, occasionally credited as Monique Dury-Thily or Monique Dury-Tholy. She designed costumes for approximately thirty-five French or co-produced films from 1967 to 1995.

She worked on six films directed by François Truffaut, including *Day for Night* (1973), *Small Change* (1976), *The Man Who Loved Women* (1977), *The Green Room* (1978), *Love on the Run* (1979) and *L'Argent de poche* (1976). She also collaborated with Bertrand Tavernier on several projects, among them *Death Watch* (1980) and *A Sunday in the Country* (1984). Other credits include *L'Argent* (1983), *La Chèvre* (1981) and *César et Rosalie* (1972).

Dury provided costumes for the first five episodes of the television series *Les Brigades du Tigre* (1974) and the miniseries *Marie-Marie* (1981). She appeared in small acting roles in four Truffaut films.
