## Biography

Monique Walton is an independent producer based in Austin, Texas. She produced Greg Kwedar’s *Sing Sing* (2024), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 and was acquired by A24.

Walton previously produced Annie Silverstein’s *Bull* (2019), which premiered in Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section, and the documentary feature *Hollow Tree* (2022), directed by Kira Akerman. She has also produced numerous short films.

She is the recipient of the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Producers Award. Walton was a 2016 Sundance Creative Producing Fellow and a 2020 Rotterdam Producing Fellow. Originally from Long Island, New York, she attended the University of Texas graduate programme.
