## Biography

Moose (1990–2006) was a Jack Russell Terrier who worked as an animal actor. He portrayed Eddie Crane on the American television series *Frasier* (1993–2003) for the first seven seasons.

Born in Florida, he was trained by Mathilde de Cagny after his original owners surrendered him. He secured the role on *Frasier* after six months of training. He also played Skip in the film *My Dog Skip* (2000).

Moose received more fan mail than any member of the human cast on *Frasier*. He retired after the seventh season, with his son Enzo succeeding him in the role. He died of natural causes in West Los Angeles in 2006.
