Morgan Gendel is an American television writer and producer. He wrote episodes of *Star Trek: The Next Generation* (1992), including “The Inner Light”, and *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1993). He contributed as writer, teleplay and story on *Law & Order* (1990s).

Gendel has written or produced more than 250 episodes across series including *Nash Bridges*, *The 100* (co-executive producer on season 4), *Drop Dead Diva*, *V.I.P.* and *Spider-Man: The New Animated Series*. He began his career as a news reporter. He was born in 1952 in West Hartford, Connecticut.
