## Biography

Mort Fallick was an American film and television editor. Born in New York City in 1933, he began his career in the editorial department at RKO Pathé working in animation. In the 1960s he founded CineMetric, a production and post-production services company in Manhattan, where he produced and directed commercials, documentaries and corporate films, and edited television pilots, series and trailers.

Fallick edited the features *Act One* (1963) and *Love at First Bite* (1979). His television credits include episodes of *The Patty Duke Show*, *Moonlighting* (1985), *China Beach*, *Capital News* and *South of Sunset*. He later worked in California on motion-picture marketing and served as title production supervisor on Martin Scorsese’s *Cape Fear* (1991). After retiring he taught editing at UCLA Extension. He died in Woodland Hills, California, in 2020.
