Morton Downey Jr. was an American television talk show host and actor. Born Sean Morton Downey Jr. on 9 December 1932 in Los Angeles, he died there on 12 March 2001.

He hosted *The Morton Downey Jr. Show* (1987–1989), which popularised a confrontational "trash TV" format. As an actor he appeared in films including *Predator 2* (1990) as Tony Pope, *Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation* (1992) as Orrin Price and *Meet Wally Sparks* (1997) as himself, as well as television episodes of *Tales from the Crypt* (1989) and *Diagnosis: Murder* (1993).

He was the son of singer Morton Downey and actress Barbara Bennett.
