Muriel King (1900–1977) was an American costume designer and fashion designer. She worked on eight major films between 1935 and 1944, including *Sylvia Scarlett* (1935), *Stage Door* (1937, gowns), *The Woman in the Window* (1944) and *Cover Girl* (1944).

King studied art at the University of Washington and began her career as a fashion illustrator for *Vogue* and *Harper's Bazaar*. She later opened a salon in New York and designed personal wardrobes for actresses including Katharine Hepburn. She retired from fashion design in 1957 to focus on painting.
