Murray Kinnell (24 July 1889 – 11 August 1954) was a British-born American actor. He began his stage career in England in 1907, toured the United States from 1912 to 1914, served in the British Army during the First World War, and later emigrated to the US.

He appeared in 71 films between 1930 and 1937, often playing smooth, gentlemanly but shady characters. He is best known for his role as Putty Nose in *The Public Enemy* (1931). Other credits include *Freaks* (1932), *Grand Hotel* (1932), *Mad Love* (1935), *Captain Blood* (1935), *The Prince and the Pauper* (1937) and *Captains Courageous* (1937).

Kinnell served the Screen Actors Guild in several positions for 16 years. He was married to the actress Henrietta Goodwin.
