Myra Lucretia Taylor is an American actress and singer. Born on 9 July 1960 in Fort Motte, South Carolina, she graduated from Yale University and made her Broadway debut in the 1988 revival of *A Streetcar Named Desire*.

She has appeared in numerous stage productions, including *Mule Bone*, *Nine*, *Macbeth* and *Tina – The Tina Turner Musical* (2019), for which she received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical as Gran Georgeanna.
