## Biography

Nacho Ruiz Capillas is a Spanish film editor born in Madrid in 1966. He began editing short films produced by Elías Querejeta in the 1980s.

His credits include *The Others* (2001), for which he won a Goya Award for best editing, *Agora* (2009), *A Perfect Day* (2015) and *A Twelve-Year Night* (2018). He has received several Medals from the Circle of Cinematographic Writers for best editing and has worked with directors including Alejandro Amenábar, Fernando León de Aranoa and Gracia Querejeta.
