## Biography

Nadia Ben Rachid is a Franco-Tunisian film editor. She began her career working with 35mm celluloid and has more than thirty years of experience in features and documentaries.

She has collaborated for over two decades with director Abderrahmane Sissako. Her credits include *Life on Earth* (1998), *Bamako* (2007), *Timbuktu* (2014) and *Black Tea* (2024). She also edited *Beauty and the Dogs* (2017) and numerous documentaries, including several by Anne Aghion.

For her work on *Timbuktu*, Ben Rachid received the César Award for Best Editing in 2015. She was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences the same year.
