## Biography

Nando Neri was an Italian actor from Naples. He played the Marshal in *The Postman* (1994), also known as *Il Postino*, directed by Michael Radford and starring Massimo Troisi.

He worked primarily in theatre and collaborated for many years with Roberto De Simone. Among his stage roles was a performance in Molière's *Ammalato per apprensione*. Neri also appeared in the film *Fuoco su di me* (2006) and the short *Novembre* (2007). He died in May 2017.
