## Biography

Navin Chowdhry is an English actor. He made his professional debut at age 15 or 16 in the 1988 film *Madame Sousatzka*. In 1994 he graduated from Imperial College London with a 2:1 honours degree in biochemistry.

He is known for playing the IT teacher Kurt McKenna in the Channel 4 series *Teachers* (2001–2003). Other television roles include Indra Ganesh in *Doctor Who* (2005), Tony in *The End of the F***ing World* (2017), and appearances in *Midsomer Murders* (2016), *Death in Paradise* (2011) and *McDonald & Dodds* (2020). Film credits include a role in *Star Wars: The Last Jedi* (2017).
