Ned Martel is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as style editor at The Washington Post, holding the post from 2009 to 2012 before joining Ryan Murphy Television.

Martel served as executive story editor and writer on the fifth season of the Fox series *Glee* (2009), contributing two episodes. He was associate producer on the HBO film *The Normal Heart* (2014) and producer on *Inside Look: The People v. O.J. Simpson*, for which he shared a Primetime Emmy Award. Since the fifth season of *American Horror Story* (2011) he has worked as writer and producer on the series, later serving as co-executive producer and executive producer; he has also held producing and writing roles on *American Horror Stories* (2021), *Hollywood* (2020), *Halston* (2021) and *The Boys in the Band* (2020).
