## Biography

Neda Armian is an American film and television producer. She graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia and began her career in the film industry as a production assistant on Jonathan Demme’s *Philadelphia* (1993). She has maintained a long collaboration with Demme, later serving as producer or co-producer on several of his projects.

Armian’s producing credits include *The Truth About Charlie* (2002), *Rachel Getting Married* (2008), *Why Stop Now?* (2012), *The Longest Week* (2014), *The Ballad of Lefty Brown* (2017) and *Aporia* (2023). She has also produced documentaries such as *Beah: A Black Woman Speaks* (2003) and the series *Murder on Middle Beach* (2020). She is based in New York.
