Nic Ede is a British costume designer. Born in 1950 in Paddington, London, he has worked in film and television since the late 1970s.

His film credits as costume designer include *Nanny McPhee* (2005), *Flyboys* (2006), *Me and Orson Welles* (2008), *Hysteria* (2011) and *Summer in February* (2013). Earlier roles encompass wardrobe supervisor on *Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes* (1984) and wardrobe master on *Gandhi* (1982). He has also designed costumes for television series such as *The White Queen* (2013), *Indian Summers* (2015) and *World on Fire* (2019).

Ede has received Emmy nominations for his television work, including for *The Palace* (2008) and *Butterfly Collectors* (1998).
