## Biography

Nicholas Georgiade was an American actor born in New York City on 25 March 1933. He died in Las Vegas on 19 December 2021.

He is best known for playing Agent Enrico "Rico" Rossi in the television series *The Untouchables* (1959–1963). Other film roles include an uncredited part in *It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World* (1963), a prisoner in *Hang 'em High* (1968) and the croupier in *Indecent Proposal* (1993). He appeared in numerous television series including *Batman* (1966), *Get Smart* (1965), *Mission: Impossible* (1966), *Hawaii Five-O* (1969), *Kojak* (1973) and *The Rockford Files* (1974).

Of Greek ancestry, Georgiade served in the US Army and graduated from Syracuse University in 1957. He began acting after being discovered by Lucille Ball in a Los Angeles theatre production.
