Nicholas Hicks-Beach is a British television writer, also credited as Nick Hicks-Beach. Born on 6 October 1960, he has written extensively for long-running series including *EastEnders* (1995–2012).

His other credits include multiple episodes of *Midsomer Murders* (2018–2022), *Lewis* (2014–2015), *DCI Banks* (2015–2016), and *Law & Order: UK* (2011–2014). He created the series *Rockface* (2002–2003) and wrote the screenplay for the film *Letters from a Killer* (1998). In 2025 he adapted *Murder Before Evensong* for television.
