## Biography

Nicholas Ma is a filmmaker and producer. He produced the documentary *Won't You Be My Neighbor?* (2018), directed by Morgan Neville, about the life and legacy of Fred Rogers. As a child, Ma appeared twice as himself on the television series *Mister Rogers' Neighborhood*.

Ma is the son of cellist Yo-Yo Ma. He is a graduate of Harvard College and previously worked for Senator John Kerry on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He later joined McKinsey & Company, leaving in 2014 as an Associate Partner. Ma has directed and written films including the shorts *Echoes* (2017) and *Suite No. 1, Prelude* (2019), as well as *Leap of Faith* (2024) and *Mabel* (2024).
