## Biography

Nicholas Wootton is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing in 1994.

He began his career working with Steven Bochco and wrote for *NYPD Blue* (1993), serving as story editor, executive story editor and later executive producer; in 1998 he shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the episode “Lost Israel”. He has also written episodes of *Law & Order* (1990), *Chuck* (2007) and *Prison Break* (2005), and created the series *Golden Boy* (2013), *Blind Justice* (2005) and *Neagley* (2026).

Wootton has been executive producer or showrunner on *Scorpion* (2014), *Stumptown* (2019) and *The Endgame* (2022).
