## Biography

Nick Dance is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He has worked extensively in television and film, serving as director of photography on series including *Gentleman Jack* (2019–2022), *The Irregulars* (2021), *Deep State* (2019), *Poldark* and *Doctor Who*.

His credits also include *Mansfield Park* (2007), *The Paradise* (2012), *Grace* (2021), *The Suspect* (2022) and *B&B* (2017). He has received BAFTA and Royal Television Society nominations for cinematography, and earlier in his career won the BBC TV Search Young Filmmakers Competition.
