Nick Hurran (born 1959) is a British film and television director. He began his career at London's Royal National Theatre before directing for the BBC, including episodes of the series *Boon* (1986).

Hurran has directed multiple episodes of *Doctor Who* (2005), including the 50th anniversary special *The Day of the Doctor* (2013), and episodes of *Sherlock* (2010), for which his work on "His Last Vow" received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special. His other credits include the feature films *It's a Boy Girl Thing* (2006) and *Little Black Book* (2004). He is married to television producer Michele Buck.
