Nick Krause is an American actor. He was born on 14 April 1992 in Austin, Texas, and raised in Georgetown. His mother, Liz Atherton, is a talent agent, and his sister, Kate Krause, is also an actress. He attended NYOS Charter School and graduated early from Georgetown High School to film *The Descendants* (2011) in Hawaii.

Krause began acting after attending an improvisation workshop at the age of ten. His breakthrough role was as Sid in Alexander Payne’s *The Descendants* (2011). Other film credits include *How to Eat Fried Worms* (2006), *ExTerminators* (2009), *Boyhood* (2014) as Charlie, *White Rabbit* (2013) as Harlon, for which he won Best Actor at the 2014 Catalina Film Festival, *Class Rank* (2017) and *Shoplifters of the World* (2021). Television appearances include *Parenthood* and *Grimm*.
