## Biography

Nick Newman is a British satirical cartoonist and comedy scriptwriter. Born on 17 July 1958 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he was educated at Ardingly College and Oriel College, Oxford, where he began writing revues with Ian Hislop.

Newman and Hislop have been writing partners since school.
