## Biography

Nicolas De Toth is an American film editor. He is the son of the Hungarian-born director André De Toth.

De Toth began working as an assistant editor in the early 1990s. His first solo editing credits include *Bicentennial Man* (1999) and *The Sum of All Fears* (2002). He has since edited numerous action and science-fiction films, including *Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines* (2003), *Live Free or Die Hard* (2007), *X-Men Origins: Wolverine* (2009), *Stoker* (2013), *The Commuter* (2018) and *Gunpowder Milkshake* (2021).

More recent credits include three episodes of the series *Obi-Wan Kenobi* (2022) and *Avatar: Fire and Ash* (2025). He has received three award nominations.
