## Biography

Nicollette Sheridan is an English-American actress. Born on 21 November 1963 in Worthing, Sussex, England, she began her career as a fashion model before appearing in the short-lived series *Paper Dolls* (1984) and the film *The Sure Thing* (1985).

She rose to prominence playing Paige Matheson on the CBS soap opera *Knots Landing* (1986–1993), receiving two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Sheridan starred as Edie Britt on the ABC series *Desperate Housewives* (2004–2009), earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2005. She later portrayed Alexis Carrington on the CW reboot of *Dynasty* (2018–2019). Other credits include the films *Noises Off* (1992), *Spy Hard* (1996), *Beverly Hills Ninja* (1997) and *Code Name: The Cleaner* (2007).
