## Biography

Nigel Curzon is a British production designer. He started in the art department at Pinewood Studios in the late 1950s, worked freelance at Shepperton and ABC TV, and joined the BBC in 1964 as a design assistant.

His credits on *Doctor Who* include uncredited design assistance on *The Web Planet* (1965). He later worked as production designer on the 1975 serial *Terror of the Zygons*. Curzon contributed to many BBC series, including *Fawlty Towers* (1979), *Blake's 7* (1981) and *Blackadder* (1983). He has discussed his career in interviews and appeared in a documentary about *Terror of the Zygons*.
