Noah Reid is a Canadian-American actor and musician. Born on 29 May 1987 in Toronto, Ontario, he trained at the Etobicoke School of the Arts and the National Theatre School of Canada. He began performing as a child, voicing the title character in the animated series *Franklin* (1997–2004) and appearing in theatre productions including a Toronto staging of *Beauty and the Beast*.

Reid is best known for playing Patrick Brewer in the television series *Schitt's Creek* (2015–2020). He received a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting or Guest Actor in a Comedy in 2019 for the role.
