## Biography

Noni White is an American screenwriter and actress. She is best known for co-writing the screenplay for the 1992 Disney film *Newsies* with her husband Bob Tzudiker, based on the 1899 Newsboys' strike.

White shares screenplay credit on several Disney animated features, including *The Hunchback of Notre Dame* (1996), *Anastasia* (1997), *Tarzan* (1999) and *102 Dalmatians* (2000). She contributed additional story material to *The Lion King* (1994) and has written for other major studios. She is a member of the writers' branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has received Annie Award nominations for her animated screenplays.

As an actress, White has appeared in films such as *The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio* (2005) and television series including *7th Heaven*.
