## Biography

Nora Mendis is a production designer whose credits include the feature films *Nickel Boys* (2024), *Passing* (2021) and *Topside* (2020). She has also served as production designer on television series such as *Kindred* (2022), *Random Acts of Flyness* (2022) and *Betty* (2020–2021).

She trained in experimental film at art school and initially worked in the art department, progressing from set decorator on titles including *Listen Up Philip* (2014), *Jamie Marks Is Dead* (2014), *Child of God* (2014) and *Skate Kitchen* (2018). Mendis has received awards and nominations for her production design, including a Chlotrudis Award for *Passing* and Black Reel recognition for *Nickel Boys* and other projects.
