Norio Matsui was a Japanese actor born in Tokyo on 15 April 1951. He appeared in several films directed by Akira Kurosawa, including *Kagemusha* (1980) as Tadatsugu Sakai and *Ran* (1985) as Shumenosuke Ogura.
