## Biography

Norm Gunzenhauser is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and began his career as a page at NBC Studios in New York from 1978 to 1980.

Gunzenhauser wrote for *Newhart* (1986–1988) and served as a writer and producer on *Murphy Brown* (1988), contributing episodes across multiple seasons including the 2018 revival. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on the show in 1990 and received a nomination in 1989.

His other credits include writing and producing work on *Hannah Montana* (2006), *All Grown Up!* (2003), *Raven's Home* (2017) and various other sitcoms. From 2008 to 2016 he worked in Moscow adapting American series for the Russian market and co-created the series *The 80's*.
