## Biography

Norman Bennett is an American actor. He appeared as Reverend Hotchkiss in the 1983 film *Tender Mercies* and as Edward Johnson in *Terms of Endearment* (1983). Other film roles include Mr. Davis in *Hope Floats* (1998) and a desk clerk in *Infamous* (2006). On television he has played characters in series including *Walker, Texas Ranger* (1993–1994) and *Prison Break* (2006).

Bennett taught high school mathematics for many years in Sherman, Texas, and participated in the local theatre community. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Southern Methodist University.
