Norman Snider (14 November 1945 – 4 January 2019) was a Canadian screenwriter and journalist from Toronto. He studied at the University of Toronto and began his career writing for publications including Toronto Life, Saturday Night, Maclean's and The Globe and Mail. He also appeared as an actor in early films by David Cronenberg.

Snider's screenwriting credits include the 1976 film Partners, Dead Ringers (1988, co-written with Cronenberg), Body Parts (1991), Rated X (2000) and Casino Jack (2010, on which he also served as co-producer). He received a Genie Award for the Dead Ringers screenplay.
