Norman Tokar (25 November 1919 – 6 April 1979) was an American director of television and feature films. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he began his career as an actor on Broadway in the early 1940s before moving into television direction on series including The Bob Cummings Show, The Donna Reed Show and Naked City.

Tokar directed 93 episodes of the sitcom Leave It to Beaver in the late 1950s and early 1960s. This work led to a long association with Walt Disney Productions, for whom he directed more than a dozen family films from Big Red (1962) to The Cat from Outer Space (1978), including The Ugly Dachshund (1966), The Happiest Millionaire (1967), The Apple Dumpling Gang (1975) and Candleshoe (1977). He also directed one episode of the series M*A*S*H in 1973.
