## Biography

O'Kane Conwell was a costume designer active in the United States during the 1910s and 1920s. She designed costumes for several Broadway productions, including the musical revues and comedies *Around the Map* (1915), *The Amber Empress* (1916), *Angel Face* (1919), *Hitchy-Koo* (1920) and *Tip Top* (1920).

Her film work included credited costume design on *Virtuous Wives* (1918) and uncredited contributions to D. W. Griffith's *Way Down East* (1920) and Rex Ingram's *Scaramouche* (1923).
