## Biography

Oliver Cheesman is a British cinematographer and director of photography. Born in October 1956, he began his career in the camera and electrical department on productions including the feature *Orphans* (1998) and *Small Faces* (1995).

He has worked extensively on British and Scottish television, serving as director of photography on *Burnistoun* (pilot and series 2–3, 2009–2012), multiple episodes of *Rab C. Nesbitt* (2008–2011), *Sea of Souls* (2004–2006), *River City* (2020–2025) and other series such as *Millie Inbetween* (2014) and *Princess Mirror-Belle* (2021).
