Oliver Muirhead is an English character actor. Born on 29 May 1957, he has worked in film, television and voice acting since the 1970s.

He is known for supporting roles including the British Colonel in *Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me* (1999), Mr Kenwright in *The Social Network* (2010), the butler in *Alvin and the Chipmunks* (2007), and the control room guard in *National Treasure: Book of Secrets* (2007). Television appearances include Professor Laughlin in *The Big Bang Theory*, a jeweller in *Friends*, Dean Wesley Allister in *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* and Dr Van Doornewaard in *Young Sheldon*.

Muirhead has provided voices for animated series such as *Spider-Man: The Animated Series* and video games including *The Hobbit* and *Eragon*. He also directed the 1986 pantomime *A Christmas Held Captive* and appeared in 1990s Tombstone Pizza commercials.
