## Biography

Oliver Wong Yui-Man (1952–2012) was a Hong Kong production designer and art director. He began his career in the late 1970s and worked extensively with Jackie Chan on films such as *Police Story* (1985), *Rumble in the Bronx* (1995), *Who Am I?* (1998) and *New Police Story* (2004). He served as production designer on Stephen Chow’s *Kung Fu Hustle* (2004) and *CJ7* (2008), and also contributed to *The Myth* (2005) and *Shinjuku Incident* (2009).

Wong won Golden Horse Awards for Best Art Direction for *Life After Life* (1982) and *Police Story 2* (1988). Born in British Hong Kong, he died in Hong Kong in 2012.
