## Biography

Olivier Massart is a Belgian actor and screenwriter. Born on 2 December 1969 in Gosselies, he trained at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, where he received a first prize in dramatic art, and was active in the Belgian Improvisation League.

Massart co-wrote the screenplay for André Téchiné’s *Wild Reeds* (1994), which received a César Award for Best Original Screenplay or Adaptation. He has appeared in numerous film and television roles, including Tania’s doctor in *Sentinelle* (2021), the history and geography teacher in *La Colle* (2017), and a fifty-something man in *Sleepless Night* (2011). Other credits include *Ducoboo 3* (2020) and *Eugénie Grandet* (2021).
