## Biography

Olly Boeheim was a German writer and actress. Born Olga George on 29 March 1891 in Blankensee (Trebbin), she appeared uncredited as a working woman in Fritz Lang’s *Metropolis* (1927).

As a writer she provided the novel on which Georg Wilhelm Pabst’s *Komödianten* (1941) was based and contributed the idea for the 1934 short *Ich bin Du*. She died on 21 January 1973.
