Orlando Jones is an American actor and comedian. Born on 10 April 1968 in Mobile, Alabama, he began his career as a writer for the television series *A Different World* in 1987 before moving into acting.

He was one of the original cast members of the sketch comedy series *MADtv* from 1995 to 1997 and served as the spokesman for 7 Up in a series of commercials from 1999 to 2002. Jones has appeared in films including *Office Space* (1999), *Magnolia* (1999), *Bedazzled* (2000), *Evolution* (2001) and *The Time Machine* (2002), and in television series such as *American Gods* (2017–2019) as Mr Nancy and *Abbott Elementary* (2021–) as Martin Eddie.
